About Textbookhog

Before anything else, Textbookhog formed in our minds as a question, “Why continue spending so much money to the campus bookstore for used books and then sell them back for a tiny amount at the end of every semester?”

Our goal here at Textbookhog is to put students in touch with students to get the best deals for used textbooks. The buyers and the sellers get a fair market price. It’s a win-win situation. Secondly, we also wanted to offer book swaps and wanted ads to allow students in the same area to find their semester’s books.

Our hope is to help students trying to make ends meet spend a little less for used textbooks and get a little more when selling them. It’s that simple.
